Origins / Background:
The Lustful Wife, directed by Kay Brandt, is a movie adaption of the erotic novel Bluebeard’s Wife written by Selena Kitt. This happens to be Brandt’s fifth adaptation of a Selena Kitt novel for Adam & Eve Pictures. However, unlike the rougher and dirtier gonzo style porn; “Brandt doubles down on sex-positive, couples-friendly odes to sexual joy from a female, and often feminine, point of view,” writes Gustavo Turner at XBIZ. Adam & Eve even hires a therapist to look over the material that may be touchy for women. After it’s given the “Green Light” they release the movies.
If the actresses seem more nipply than normal, thank the cool crisp air in the mansion for that. This familiar location was not heated during the two days of shooting. Even filming in the beautiful valleys of LA; even so you can’t always avoid the few times when the low temps move in.
The Lustful Wife opens with Tara (Penny Pax) & her best friend Kelly (Bridgette B.) having a little yoga session. Kelly invites Tara to her house to come to a lingerie party she is hosting. Tara starts to open up about her vanilla sex life after admitting she has only worn lingerie for her husband. She’s never considered wearing it outside of the house. Feeling like her husband is holding back from her; Tara tries getting her husband’s inner fantasies out, even looking through his phone and computer with no luck. Without a doubt, she is convinced he doesn’t masturbate, has no fantasies, and has no real sexual interests besides her as she is.
Inspired to help her best friend spice up her love life; Kelly suggests that she waits for her husband in some lingerie. Waiting at the door in sexy lingerie does the trick and the couple becomes intimate (14:00). Waking up in the middle of the night John (Ryan Driller) scurries out to the living room with his phone in hand. Tara waking up walks into the hallway to overhear her husband on the phone with a sex phone operator. From that moment she decides she needs to take things into her own hand.

What’s a girl to do when she walks down the aisle in a few days? The answer is.. have an amazing threesome with her maid-of-honor and the muscular stud she’s always wanted to fuck. Tara catches Chris (Derrick Pierce) flirting with the bride-to-be (Victoria Voxxx) in the hallway. She wonders around the party hoping to find Kelly and let her know what is about to happen. To her surprise; Kelly has set those two up after the bride admitted she has always wanted to bang her husband. Who’s a girl to say “No” to the future bride right?
